- Account Registration: Name, business email address, company name, phone number, and secure password credentials.
- Configuration Data: Input parameters specific to your usage, such as target sectors, ideal customer profiles, and search preferences used to configure the intent signals.
- Billing Information: Billing contacts and payment details (processed securely via our third-party payment provider; we do not store raw credit card information).
- Support Communications: Data exchanged with our Customer Success team during onboarding, POC setup, or support inquiries.
1.2 Platform Usage Data
We automatically collect technical data needed to maintain platform performance and security:
- Log Data: Electronic records of sign-ins, page views, feature usage, and API calls.
- Device & Network Info: IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, and device identifiers used for security auditing.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information exclusively to deliver the ScotiaSignal service:
- Service Delivery: To authenticate users, provide access to features, and generate the intent signals requested via your configuration.
- Account Administration: To manage your subscription status (whether Proof of Concept or Annual Contract) and process invoicing.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We adhere to a strict "No Sale" policy regarding your data. We share information only in specific operational contexts:
- Sub-Processors: We engage trusted third-party service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, email infrastructure) to support our technical operations. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services we request.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process.

- Proof of Concept (POC): During your 1-month POC, we retain data to facilitate the trial. If you do not proceed to an annual contract, your data will be deactivated and scheduled for deletion in accordance with our retention schedule.
- Annual Contracts: We retain your data for the duration of your active subscription term to provide continuous service access and historical reporting.
- Termination: Upon contract termination, you may request the deletion of your account and associated data. We may retain certain billing records for tax and accounting purposes as required by law.
